Panel 1: Sara sits in her kitchen with a cup of coffee; she's holding a cordless phone, thinking: "The thought of dealing with work -- and John at work -- was too much." The person on the phone, "Takeout Custom --" and Sara interrupts, "Frances, it's Sara."

Panel 2: Sara continues, "I forgot today's your day in."

Panel 3: Frances, speaking using a hands-free device, says, "You're taking a sick day and you're soooo not sick!"

Panel 4: Sara replies, "Well, it's not like I get paid for it either way." Frances says, "Haha too true!" and continues, "So I had this dream last night where something grabbed my feet!"

Panel 5: More of the desk Frances is sitting at is visible: It's John's desk with the Mac G4 monitor. Frances keeps talking, "It was so creepy! Ugh, this sleeping alone thing is NOT working. It's just nightmares every night!" Sara's explainer continues, "Frances comes in once a week to do the bookkeeping. And I get a brief reprieve from phone duties."
