Location: Sara's apartment (Sunset Park)

Sara’s apartment in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is in the building Nana (Veronika’s grandmother) owns. The apartment’s inexpensive and available at a time when Sara suddenly has to move, and she sees it as her only option. Of course, it’s inexpensive because it’s fairly terrible, but she doesn’t need to have a roommate. Frances is horrified that the bathroom doesn’t feature a sink. The kitchen’s also just a couple cabinets and a mini-fridge in the middle of the space.

Andrew lives upstairs from her.
