Panel 1: Andrew's story continues. He wakes up in Kara's bed looking out of sorts, saying "ugh" to himself. Kara's next to him and is not asleep. "I was REALLY hung over the next morning -- all I wanted to do was go home and crawl into bed..."

Panel 2: Andrew pulls his shirt (that says Cranes) on; his eyes aren't even open.

Panel 3: A moment later he looks awake and alert: "And then I saw two things on her coffee table." He says, "What the fuck."

Panel 4: "First was a printout of a short story. A story I'd just sold to a magazine in Japan. I should mention I'm basically a failed writer."

Panel 5: "... Except for this one publisher I'm a TOTAL failure. And this one has approached ME, after seeing a story online." Andrew holds up the paper-clipped pages, looking at them in disbelief. He says to himself, "... How --"

Panel 6: "So that was weird, but next to it was a photo..." Andrew holds up a photo with a white border. It appears to be of Kara next to Veronika; both are smiling.
