Panel 1: Sara puts on a black jacket. "It was almost nine when I got back from returning the truck."

Panel 2: She walks down the block. Just past the deli (Rosalino's), there is indeed a ground-floor door with a sign over it that says BAR. The door to it is solid with a peephole and there's a metal fence around the entrance. There are no windows on the front of the building at the bar level. "The place really was just a few doors down. I probably hadn't noticed it before because it's tiny."

Panel 3: Sara enters. Kara's sitting at the bar with a drink in a glass in front of her, glowering. She's wearing a black choker and a strapless black top. Frances is sitting at a table by the wall, with a somewhat older man. They're clinking drinks and smiling. There's another man standing by the wall. "Frances was already there. I guess her 'idea' was pretending not to know me... She already had some guy buying her drinks."

This scene takes place a couple days before Halloween; Tanglewood Numbers, the album this song is on, was released October 18, 2005, so here's a rare instance of me picking a song that just came out.
