Another Manhattan neighborhood next to Union Square and the Flatiron District; Chelsea extends west. West 19 Books is located there — Sara exits the subway at Union Square when she arrives from Astoria to get there. When she arrives from Brooklyn she gets off the train at 6th Avenue and 14th Street, so we assume the shop’s probably between 5th and 6th Avenues.
